"Loved Ones Daily" is a collection of customized songs, made for specific individuals who purchased the cassette version of "Safe To Disconnect." Each song is named for the street, town, or neighborhood in which the recipient resides. The title is derived from Governor Roy Cooper's daily press briefings, in which director of emergency management Mike Sprayberry regularly reminds North Carolinians to check in with, contact, or call, "loved ones daily." These sessions gave me an opportunity to do just that--to conduct a wellness check on my far-flung friends and craft a specific composition that would resonate with that specific soul. Released on my 40th birthday.
